Description

The Woodman is a house dated 1735 as indicated by a datestone at the centre of the first floor. It is constructed of red and grey brick with red brick dressings, and has an old plain-tile roof that is half-hipped to the left, and a brick end stack to the right. A 20th-century door with a segmental brick head is situated to the right of centre, with a blocked doorway to the left. A four-pane sash window with a segmental brick head is on the left, and a three-light casement with a segmental brick head is on the right. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors. Two three-light casements are located on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
