Description
Woodleys Cottage is a house that likely dates from the late 16th century, featuring a cruck-framed single-storey section on the left. The main part of the house was built in the mid-17th century. It has large timber framing with painted brick infill and a thatched roof that is hipped to the right. There is a brick ridge stack on the left and an end stack on the right. The cottage is two storeys high with a two-window range. A plank door is located to the right of the centre, with two-light casements to the right and centre, and a single-light window to the left of centre. On the first floor, there are two 2-light casements. To the left, there is a single-storey, single-window section that features a base cruck on the left return. The interior has not been inspected.
