Description

Stewarts Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with later alterations. It is timber framed with rendered infill, and has a thatched roof that is half-hipped to the right; a brick ridge stack is positioned centrally. The house likely has a 2-unit lobby-entry plan. It is a single storey with an attic, and has a 2-window front. A 20th-century glazed door leads to a 20th-century lean-to porch in the centre. The windows are of an irregular pattern and are 19th-century casements. There are two swept dormers. A queen post roof truss is visible in the left return gable end. The interior remains uninspected.
