Description
This barn, located approximately 70 meters south of Copcourt Manor, is likely from the mid-17th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. It features a brick base from the 20th century, large timber framing with weatherboarding, and a thatched roof. The barn has four bays and includes double plank doors positioned to the right of center, with a cross-gable above. There is also a plank door to the right and irregularly placed 20th-century casement windows. At the rear, there are two gabled dormers with plain-tile surrounds in the center. Inside, the barn has a curved principal roof truss at the center, a double Queen-post roof truss at the right end, and a 20th-century roof construction that reuses some original timber. The barn is included for its group value with the nearby manor.
