Description

No. 28 Shirburn Road is a house dating from the late 16th century. The first floor is roughcast and jettied over square timber framing with brick infill, supported by plain brackets. To the right, there is timber framing with tension braces. The roof is thatched, featuring both half-hipped and gabled sections, with a brick stack at one end. The house has a one-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a single window range. The door and windows are from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
