Description

This is an early 19th-century house located on the east side of Shirburn Street, Watlington. It is built of Flemish bond brick with flared headers, and the right-hand side wall is stuccoed. The roof is covered in old tiles, with brick end stacks.

The house has a one-unit plan and two storeys, with a two-window front. A flat hood with chamfered posts shelters the six-panelled front door, which has two glazed panels. A cornice continues above the door to a canted bay window on the right. Above, a leaded light with a timber lintel sits over a horizontal sliding sash window to the right. The eaves have dentil detailing. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the register for its group value.
