Description

CORNMARKET STREET 1. 1485 (West Side) Nos 41 & 42 SP 5l06 SW 8/293 12.1.54. II GV 2. RCHM 108. Originally C17 and probably refronted in C18. Now one building of a modem restored front of 4-storeyed stuccoed timber framing with cellars, a moulded cornice above the 3rd floor and a parapet. 2 3-storeyed 3-sided bays with modern modillioned cornices. At the 2nd floor is a band. Roof not visible. Modern shopfront 1961.

Nos 38 to 42 (consec) form a group.
