Description
Unit 24, Castle Centre, originally known as Nos. 39, 39A, and 39B, is an 18th-century house that has been converted into shops. The building features a stucco front and a slate roof adorned with ornamental ridge tiles. There is a brick end stack to the left, resting on a rendered stone base. The structure has two storeys plus an attic and consists of a three-window range. On the first floor, there are three renewed three-light casement windows set in moulded stone frames, along with three pedimented attic dormers that have sashes and finials. A moulded eaves cornice runs along the top of the building. The interior has been altered, particularly in the 1970s.
