Description
This building, known as Copper Kettle (formerly Wilsons Wines and Millers Estate Agents), is likely a warehouse that has been converted into offices and shops. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed as a single unit with painted red brick and a slate roof. There is a rendered brick stack at the right end. The building stands four storeys high and features a three-window range. The ground floor has wooden cased shop fronts with three entrances. On the first floor, there are two tall casement windows with pilaster surrounds and another segmental headed window with glazing bars. The second and fourth floors each have three similar windows. The building is topped with dentilled eaves. Inside No.6, there are blocked brick arches on the rear wall of the ground floor, a winder staircase, lath and plaster partitions on the upper floors, wide floor planks, and a cellar.
