Description

Diamond Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of squared and coursed limestone and features a gabled roof covered with plain tiles from the 19th century. The building has a T-plan layout with a front wing and stands two storeys tall, comprising a four-window range. To the right of the central wing, there is a 20th-century porch with a lean-to roof, and a similar 20th-century porch is located to the left. The windows are fitted with 20th-century casements that have timber lintels. Inside, the farmhouse has stop-chamfered beams and open fireplaces, with a stop-chamfered bressumer on the left. The attic has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
