This chest tomb, possibly dating from the early 18th century, is located approximately 1 meter east of the chancel of the Church of St. Michael in Barford St. Michael. It is made of ironstone and features a boldly carved panel with floral decoration, a skull, and a raised panel that bears an illegible inscription dated 1715. The sides of the tomb are adorned with balusters, while one end displays a cartouche and the other end features an angel draped in fabric. The tomb is topped with a moulded, chamfered ledger slab.
