Description

The dovecote, located approximately 50 meters east of the Manor House, dates from around 1713. It is constructed of regular coursed ironstone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof laid in diminishing courses, with a hipped slated louvre at the top. The building has a square plan and includes a plank door that is framed with a moulded wood surround and a wooden lintel, accessed by a flight of stone steps. There is a flat band above the door and a plinth on the left end, topped with stone coping. The interior contains nesting boxes.
