Description
This house, located approximately 25 meters south of the Whitmore Arms Public House, dates from the early 18th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a steeply pitched slate roof. There is a stone lateral stack with a brick shaft. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall, with a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a panelled glazed door set within a wooden door frame, topped by a wooden lintel and a flat hood. On either side of the entrance are three-light metal casements in wooden frames, complete with wrought-iron casement fasteners and chamfered wooden lintels. The first floor has three similar windows, which are either two or three lights. The interior has not been inspected.
