Description

The Round House is a mid-18th century building that originally consisted of two cottages, which have now been combined into one dwelling. It features coursed limestone rubble construction and has steeply pitched hipped or gabled thatched roofs with brick end stacks. The layout is now an L-plan, comprising two units and one unit. The building stands two storeys high and has a two-window range on the elevation facing High Street. The ground floor includes two- or three-light wood casements with wood lintels, although some of the windows have been renewed. The first floor has similar windows. The interior has not been inspected.
