Description

Incorrectly marked Caberfeidh on OS map. This is an early 18th-century house, altered in the 20th century. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone. The main building has a steeply pitched thatched roof, while a rear wing has a 20th-century tile roof. Brick end stacks are present. The house is arranged in an L-shape. It has two storeys plus an attic, and a three-window front. The central entrance has a six-panelled wooden door, set within a wooden frame under a wooden lintel and hood. It is flanked by 20th-century windows, also with original wooden lintels. Three similar windows are located on the first floor. The left gable has a two-light casement window in a wooden frame, with a wooden lintel and wrought-iron casement fasteners. The interior was not inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value.
