Description

This headstone, dated 1661 and 1672, is located approximately 21 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary in Bloxham. It is made of ironstone and features a wide design with eared and scrolled decoration at the top. The raised panel has an inscription that is now illegible. This headstone is one of several 17th century headstones found in the churchyard.
