Description

This is a 17th-century headstone made of ironstone, located approximately 23 meters east of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary. The headstone features scrolled decoration and rosettes. The inscription, which is partially legible, reads: ' - Mathew Haile who died 11 October 1698'. It is situated about 3 feet to the right of the headstone for William Bloxham.
