Description

Bartlett Cottage is a house that was formerly two cottages, likely occupied by small-holders. It was built around 1800 and features rendered coursed rubble with a slate roof, along with brick ridge and end stacks. Originally, the cottages consisted of one unit with an additional unit that has a pitching hole and an end outshot. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range. There are two plank doors with wood lintels. On the left side, there is a window with honeycomb glazing that has been inserted into the pitching hole, while the original pitching hole remains on the right. The ground and first floors have three-light metal casements set in wood frames, also with wood lintels, wrought-iron casement fasteners, and lead canes. The interior has not been inspected.
