Description

This is a mid 19th century oasthouse located about 30 metres north-east of Furnace Mill House. It features red brick stowage with a weatherboarded gable end and a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with a half-hipped roof. On the first floor, there are leaded wooden casements on each elevation. The ground floor has a boarded door to the left and double cart doors on the gable end. At the northern end, there is an integral kiln with a rounded external wall and a conical roof, complete with an intact cowl and winding vane.
