Description
9 Cumberland Walk is a building that dates back to 1746, likely refronted in the late 18th century around 1850. It has two storeys and is weatherboarded with a slate roof. The front features three sash windows with intact glazing bars, including a three-light sash on the ground floor. There is a porch with steps leading to the street and a balcony at the first-floor level. The rear elevation is older, also two storeys with attics. The ground floor is made of painted brick, while the first floor is tile-hung, featuring two gables with a rainwater head between them. There are three sash windows with moulded architraves, and a simple doorcase on the ground floor. The left side has an external chimneystack. Numbers 6 to 9, along with the wall in front of number 7, form a group.
