Description
Number 6 Cumberland Walk is a building likely designed by the Brighton architect Amon Henry Wilds around 1830. It is two storeys tall with a semi-basement, featuring a stucco exterior. The ground floor is rusticated, while the upper part is grooved to resemble masonry. There is a modillion eaves cornice and a cornice above the ground floor, which is raised above the level of the walkway. The building has three square-headed windows with pointed heads on the upper halves of the sashes, each with hood moulds above and intact glazing bars. The ground floor windows are adorned with iron balconettes. Access to the porch is via eight steps with a handrail. Numbers 6 to 9, along with the wall in front of Number 7, form a group.
