Description
Green Lane Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 18th century or earlier. It is a timber-framed house that has been refronted in red brick, featuring some grey headers on the ground floor, while the first floor is weatherboarded. The right end bay is entirely brick, with the lower part made of 17th-century brickwork in Flemish bond and the upper part consisting of three courses of stretchers with one blue header. On the left side, the ground floor is brick and the first floor is tile hung. The roof is tiled and has an off-central brick stack, along with a renewed external brick chimneystack. The building has one storey and attics, with three windows, including one gabled dormer and three 19th-century casements. The doorcase features a flat wooden weather hood and a plank door.
