Description
Hole Park is a building that features central sections from the 17th and 18th centuries. The facade was restored around 1960, and it was once the home of the Gybbon Monypenny family. The 19th-century wings were demolished during this restoration. The building has two storeys and attics, constructed of red brick, with a total of nine window bays. It has a hipped tiled roof with two brick stacks and two modern dormers. The facade includes a parapet with stone coping, a brick cornice, and casement windows. The central window bay projects forward, while the two flanking bays on each side project slightly further than the remaining two bays. There are cross-shaped iron ties and a stringcourse. The entrance features a modern doorcase in a Georgian style, complete with a semi-circular enriched pediment, a triglyph frieze, fluted pilasters, and a six-panelled door with the top two panels cut away and glazed.
