Description

Whitegates is a cottage dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, located on Rolvenden Road in Benenden. The building features a ground floor constructed of red brick, while the first floor is tile hung, displaying diamond patterns in the tiles. It has a mansard tiled roof with end chimneystacks. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, arranged in two parallel ranges. There are three diamond-paned casement windows. A 19th-century gabled wooden weather porch is also present.
