Description
The Catherine Wheel is a house dating to around 1700, with a later 20th-century extension. It is timber-framed and weatherboarded, with the extension constructed of painted brick and tile hanging. The roof is tiled, with a half-hipped shape and chimney stacks positioned at the rear centre and the right end. The front has a plinth and features four-light wooden casement windows on the first floor, and three on the ground floor. A boarded door is centrally located on the left side of the front, protected by a flat hood supported on brackets. A 20th-century rear range is visible, with tile hanging on the first floor. The interior reveals a late-style exposed timber frame.
