Description
The building consists of two stable ranges, likely constructed in the early 19th century. The rear and end walls are made of brick, while the front elevation is framed and weatherboarded, topped with a peg-tile roof.
The layout features two ranges positioned at right angles to each other, forming the north and west boundaries of the farmyard located north of Catts Place.
On the exterior, the west range has a roof sloping from north to south and includes two plank doors. There is a third doorway at the left end that has been converted into a window, along with four small windows set high under the eaves. The north range, which faces the house, has two plank doors and five high-set windows under the eaves on the left side. There is a full-height opening to the right of the centre. The right end bay of this range is framed on the front elevation, featuring slender studs and includes a door and a two-light window.
The interior of the north range was inspected and reveals a tie-beam roof supported by raking queen posts and clasped purlins.
