Description

The building is an early 19th-century T-shaped farmhouse with attached agricultural ranges, built around the same time or shortly after, and featuring later 19th-century additions. It is constructed of rubble and has a medium-pitched slate roof, with a plain brick stack located off-centre. The two inter-connecting ranges form a rough T shape, which appears as an L when viewed from the farmyard, with the western range extending as a gabled projection to the rear. The main entrance is located on the northern section and follows a lobby-entry plan. It features a Victorian part-glazed door with a cambered head that is slightly recessed, flanked by modern windows with cambered heads, the left window being larger. There are additional modern sliding casement windows under the eaves.

To the south, there is a contemporary barn that is stepped up from the farmhouse. It is built of rubble and slate, with a single tier of ventilation slits. The barn has a raised off-centre entrance with a cambered head and a stable door, along with another stable door to the left at ground level, which has been rebuilt in brick above. A modern single-storey breeze-block lean-to is attached to the front of the barn. At right angles to the barn and stepped down is a second stable range from the late 19th century, constructed in the same manner. This range has a central entrance on the north-facing side, flanked by windows similar to those on the barn, and an additional window under the eaves to the right. There is a loading bay at the coped eastern gable.

To the east of the farmhouse and stepped down is a second two-storey agricultural range from the late 19th century, built in the same style. It features an entrance on the left with a loading bay above and flanking windows, one of which is shuttered and has ventilation slits. All windows and doors have cambered heads, with the ground floor entrance made of brick. To the right, there is a 20th-century cart entrance with boarded doors and a flat lintel.
