HORSMONDEN GROVEHURST LANE Grovehurst Oast

(Formerly listed as Oasthouse at Grovehurst Farm, about 75 metres north west of Grovehurst. GROVEHURST ROAD)

GV II Double oasthouse. Mid C19. Red and blue chequered brick and weather boarding with plain tiled roofs. Two two-storey stowages, both with red brick ground floors, the gable end of that to the east open, that to the west with a cart entry, both with loft doors on first floor, with hoist bracket to right. Three wooden casements on first floor and two on ground floor to left return elevation, with basement opening at rear left. Paired roundels in English Bond on plinth, with tiled linking gantry and louvred base to cowls.
