Description

FRITTENDEN STAPLEHURST ROAD TQ 84 SW (north side) 3/46 Oasthouse about 25 metres east of Sandhurst Bridge Farmhouse GV II Oasthouse. Early C19 or earlier. Timber framed stowage, clad with vertical and horizontal weather boarding and corrugated iron sheeting, and red brick roundels. Plain tiled roofs. Rounded with cogged eaves to roof without cowl. Stowage, probably an earlier barn adapted for use as oasthouse, with hipped roof and outshots to rear and to right, with open stock pens. Boarded doors and wooden casements to left.
