Description
Great Hungerden Cottages is a house located on the north side of Frittenden Headcorn Road, dating from the 16th century or earlier. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has a hall house origin and features two storeys and an attic. The roof is hipped to the left and half-hipped to the right, with gablets and a stack on the left side, along with a gabled dormer. On the first floor, there are two three-light wooden casements and a central two-light casement. The ground floor includes three and four-light casements, with a three-light casement to the right in a recessed outshot. The central entrance door has four panels and is topped with a flat hood. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot.
