Chapel Immediately North Of Chapel Cottage

The chapel, located immediately north of Chapel Cottage, is believed to have been built for one of the Baptist groups and is currently disused. It is thought to date from the early 20th century and features weatherboarding with a slate roof, designed in a Gothick style.

The chapel has a simple rectangular plan with a gable end facing the road and consists of three bays. It is a single-storey building with modest proportions and simple Gothick details reminiscent of the early 19th century. Each side of the chapel has three windows with triangular heads, small panes, and one diamond-shaped pane in the head. The west end, which faces the road, includes a plain plank door and a similar window in the gable above. The gable end is adorned with shaped bargeboards pierced with trefoils, along with a pendant and finial at the apex. The chapel has group value with Chapel Cottage.
