Description
This building is an oast and roundel pair, now functioning as a restaurant. It was built in the late 19th century and extended in the early 20th century. The structure features red and some blue brick, with sloping brick buttresses on each side. It has an oversailing brick eaves cornice above a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the right. From this roof, six oasts rise in two rows of three, each topped with pyramidal roofs, weatherboarded cowls, and wind-vanes. To the east, there are two roundels with tiled roofs, weatherboarded cowls, and wind-vanes as well. On the west side, there are large boarded garage doors to the right, and to the left, two boarded doors on the first floor flank two windows with boarded shutters, along with one boarded door on the ground floor to the right. A wooden gallery runs along the west side to the left, accessed by steps from the right.
