Description

This is a 16th-century barn located approximately 30 metres south east of The Red House in Goddard's Green, Benenden, which was altered in the 18th century. The barn is timber-framed and clad in weatherboarding, standing on a brick plinth with a peg tiled roof. It features four bays, jowled posts, and a queen post roof supported by curved windbraces. The rafters are pegged and there is no ridgepiece. Additionally, there are 18th-century outshuts.
