Description

Dove's Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on the east side of Tilden Lane in Cranbrook. The building features a combination of part timber framing and a ground floor made of red and blue brick in a chequer pattern, with the first floor finished in plain and scalloped tile hanging. It has a plain tiled roof topped with a tall brick stack at one end. The farmhouse is two storeys high with garrets and has a regular front with three windows. The windows are large 19th-century iron-fronted lattice casements, and there are central glazed double doors. At the rear, there are 19th-century wings and a low 20th-century wing extending beyond.
