Description

Bounds End Farmhouse is a 16th-century farmhouse. It is timber-framed with red brick cladding on the ground floor and weatherboarding on the first floor. The roof is tiled, hipped, and has gables. A small eyebrow dormer is located on the left side, and a tall rendered stack rises from the ridge to the left. The farmhouse has two storeys and an attic. The windows are arranged irregularly, with three windows on the first floor and two octagonal bays featuring sloping hoods on the ground floor, positioned to the left and right of the centre. A boarded door is situated to the right, sheltered by a 20th-century gabled weather porch. The interior retains substantial evidence of the original timber framing.
