Description
Hastingford Cottage is a farmhouse dating from the 16th century, now used as a house. It features a timber frame with brick cladding on the ground floor, weatherboarding on the west side, and tile-hanging on the south side. The roof is plain tiled, half-hipped to the north, and has a very deep half-hip and a gablet. A tall ribbed brick ridge stack is located at the center of the roof. There is a gabled dormer on the left side. The building has two storeys and attics, with an irregular arrangement of five windows on the first floor and four windows on the ground floor, which are 19th or 20th century wooden casements. To the left, there is a boarded door and a catslide extension with garage doors on the front face.
