Description

Winfield Farmhouse is a mid-to-late 18th-century farmhouse situated on the west side of Long Mill Lane in Plaxtol. Built of coursed dressed stone, it has a plain tiled roof with moulded eaves, half-hipped to the left, and two hipped dormers. Projecting end stacks are also present. The farmhouse is two storeys high with two windows, incorporating 19th-century casement windows. A central half-glazed and pantiled door is covered by a flat projecting hood supported on carved brackets.
