Description

This is a mid-18th century house group arranged in an L-shape, originally the Duke’s Head Public House. It is constructed of painted brick with moulded eaves and a plain tiled roof, featuring two 19th-century gabled dormers. The north wing is two storeys high with a two-window front facing south, featuring bare sash windows. An off-centre doorway is sheltered by a flat hood. The south wing projects southwards, likely incorporating former farm buildings, and has a single doorway to the west also protected by a flat hood.
