Description
Manor Farmhouse is an L-shaped house originating from the 17th and 18th centuries. The rear wing retains older features, while the front block was rebuilt or recased around 1850 in buff brick. The building is two storeys high, with a plinth and a flat band of brick. It has a gable end roof covered with tiles and flat eaves. The gable ends feature panelled chimney stacks and header dentils along the verges, extending across at the eaves level.
The east front has three windows, with the central window likely being blind but hidden by ivy. The windows are recessed glazing bar sashes with flat gauged brick arches. The entrance door consists of six flush panels and has a rectangular fanlight with a diamond glazing pattern set in a panelled reveal. The doorcase features engaged Doric columns and a flat cornice hood. The older rear wing is roughcast, likely timber framed, and has three light wood casements. The rear door also has six flush panels and a cornice hood. Some ceiling beams are exposed, but the rest of the structure is concealed.
