Description

The Garage at Wateringbury Place is a building that originally served as stables for Wateringbury Place and dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with blue headers and features a shallow pitched hipped slate roof. The building has two storeys and a three-window facade with a central entrance. The entrance bay is pedimented and includes a circular window in the attic. A central clock tower is topped with a cupola and an iron weather-vane. The windows are modern segment-headed sash windows, and the door, which has an overlight, is framed by a modern Ionic columned surround.
