Description

Lyme Cottage is a former pair of cottages dating from the mid-18th century. The building is timber-framed, featuring exposed framing on the first floor with plaster infilling, while the ground floor is constructed of red brick. It has moulded eaves beneath a plain tiled roof, which includes end stacks and two hipped dormers. The cottage stands two storeys high with attics and has a three-window front with casement windows. There is one boarded door located off-centre to the left, and another boarded door on the left-hand return front, both of which are topped with small bracketed pentice hoods. At the rear, there is a catslide extension.
