Description

Blacklands House is a house built around 1840. It has a stucco exterior set on a plinth and features boxed eaves beneath slate hipped roofs. The building is two storeys tall and has five bays, arranged in a 1-1-1-2 pattern, with projections in the second and fourth bays from the left. The windows include glazing bar sashes in the projections and tripartite sashes in the recesses on the first floor, with sliding French casements below. There is a panelled half-margin light door located in the left projection, topped with a volute bracketed entablature hood. Additionally, there is a wing at the rear of the house.
