Description
A pair of cottages located on Police Station Road, West Malling, dated 1852 and marked with the initials “J S” on the gable. The cottages are constructed of red brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with an old peg-tiled roof. They are two storeys high with a two-window front. A brick cornice with modillion details runs along the eaves. The front features two 16-pane sash windows on each floor. Simple doorcases are present. The left gable end has a single 16-pane sash window to the first floor and a 20th-century casement window in the attic. The right gable end features a 16-pane sash window to the first floor and an 8-pane sash window in the attic.
