Description
The Lobster Pot is a restaurant located in West Malling, originally built in the 18th century and extended with alterations to the front in the mid-19th century. The building is finished in stucco with incised lines that mimic masonry. It features an old tiled roof with three hips and stands two storeys tall. There are three windows facing Swan Street and one window on the Police Station Road side, all of which are mid-19th century sashes with moulded surrounds and brackets underneath. The ground floor windows have eared and footed architraves, and there is a plinth at the base. The rear wing includes two 16-pane sashes.
