Description
The Manor House is an early 18th-century house located on the north side of Teston Road in Offham. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings. The building features a moulded dentilled eaves cornice beneath a hipped plain tiled roof, which has three flat-roofed leaded dormers and end stacks. The house has two storeys and an attic, with five windows that are glazing bar sashes set in flat arched surrounds. There are recessed red brick panels between the ground and first floor windows, along with flanking red brick pilaster-strips on either side of the central first floor window above the door. The entrance consists of a central panelled door with overlights, framed by a doorcase featuring fluted Corinthian columns that support a dentilled entablature and an open pediment. This front block was added to the existing 17th-century three- and two-storey blocks located at the rear.
