Description

Quintain. Likely dating from the medieval period, it has undergone significant restoration. The structure stands on a concreted pedestal and comprises a wooden stock approximately 9 feet high. It features an asymmetrical crossbar that can swivel. One arm is shorter and flat, with small depressions, while the other is larger and carries a chain with a weight attached. The structure is of group value, recognised for its historical interest.
