Description

The Old Forge is a 17th-century cottage featuring exposed timber-framing with thin scantling and painted brick infilling. It has a half-hipped roof covered in plain tiles, complete with gablets and a central brick chimney stack. The building stands two storeys tall and has an irregular arrangement of windows, with two on the first floor and three on the ground floor, all of which are 20th-century wooden casements. To the right, there is a boarded door that has a pentice hood above it.
