Description
Church Cottage is a cottage from the late 18th century, with a later extension that projects to the left. This extension may be built on older foundations and incorporates some earlier sections of wall, particularly at the rear. The building features random rubble construction with red brick dressings and yellow mathematical tiles on the first floor of the east face of the projecting wing. It has a plain tiled roof with a ridge stack on the left wing. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows in the right wing, which are casements set in segment-headed surrounds below. The wing has irregular fenestration, with one window on both floors, also featuring box casements. There is a modern door located in the corner of the left wing and a 19th-century glazed door in the centre of the right wing.
