Description
Sycamore Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century, with an early 19th-century extension. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof. The left gable has a raised and coped brick design with a kneeler, and there are dentil eaves. The cottage is two storeys high and has three bays, with the left single bay being higher and set back from the rest.
The doorway is located on the left and has a panelled and glazed door. To the left of the door, there are two Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars. All ground floor openings are set under segmental arches. On the upper floor, there are two small tripartite casements, and to the left, there is a single Yorkshire sash window with glazing bars. To the right of the main structure, there is a single-storey, single-bay extension made of red brick and pantiles, which features dentil eaves and a single 20th-century casement window.
