Description

This cottage, located 10 yards south of Bartons Farmhouse, dates from the 18th century. It is built of uncoursed rubble stone with red brick dressings. The roof is half-hipped and covered with plain tiles, featuring tile-hanging in the gables and a rear stack with a projecting breast. The cottage has one storey and an attic, with a two-window front that includes modern casements. It is included in the listing for its group value only.
